We meet every Wednesday at 10 a.m. at a predetermined location in or around the Tyler area. The 4th Wednesday is reserved for a group field trip. Check out our Facebook page for our meetups.

Learning opportunities will change on a weekly basis depending on who is volunteering to lead the meetup for that week. Some subjects we hope to cover are nature/science, music, art, geography, and culture. If you are interested in volunteering your time to organize a particular topic for a meetup, please post in the group!
From 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. there will be a semi-structured learning opportunity. We break for lunch from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. Parents provide their own lunch for their participants. 1 p.m.-2 p.m. is free time to socialize and play. We hope you consider coming on a regular basis to build relationships with other members of our group.
There is no commitment. Based on the learning opportunity or activity there may occasionally be an agreed upon small fee or supply request from home. For field trips we will list the event ahead of time with details on how to get your ticket or pay the entrance fee.
Parents will be required to stay the full duration of the group meet up. We also ask that parents participate in various aspects of the day.
BH was started by a group of parents who recognized the need for a learning environment that is inclusive of all walks of life. We wanted to create an in-person opportunity to socialize, collaborate and learn in a supportive group environment.
